Honda to Unveil Global EV Series at CES 2024

Honda has unveiled plans to introduce a groundbreaking global Electric Vehicle (EV) series at CES 2024, marking a significant stride in its commitment to launch 30 new EV models worldwide by 2030. The automaker aims for a sales volume of 2 million electric vehicles and strives for 100 percent zero-emission cars in North America by 2040, encompassing both battery-electric and fuel-cell electric vehicles.

The CES showcase will not only feature the new EV models but also highlight key technologies that underscore Honda’s ongoing transformation. A teaser image released by the company hints at an upcoming EV concept car, displaying a sleek, low-to-the-ground design with a pixelated wheel peering through the shadows.

In addition to the vehicle debuts, Honda plans to create an immersive experience with a dedicated booth at CES and a corresponding website, both spotlighting the global EV series and the transformative technologies in the pipeline. The manufacturer’s strategic shift is not limited to the product line; it extends to a revamped business approach aligned with the new global brand slogan, “The Power of Dreams – How we move you.” While the specific implications of this slogan remain open to interpretation, Honda emphasizes its intention to transcend constraints and enhance the capabilities and possibilities of its products and services.

As anticipation builds for the 2024 Prologue, Honda’s second foray into the North American EV market, the company seems poised to deliver on its vision of a dynamic and sustainable automotive future.
