Tata’s Punch EV Hits Indian Roads, Starting at Rs. 10.99 Lakh

Tata Motors has introduced the Punch EV in India, starting at Rs. 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric vehicle comes in five variants and offers two battery pack choices. With design inspiration from the Nexon EV, the Punch EV features a full-width LED light bar, a sleek grille, and a charging flap at the front with automatic opening/closing. Available in 10 color options, including Seaweed Green, Daytona Grey, Fearless Red, Empowered Oxide, and Pristine White, the Punch EV aims to stand out.

The interior boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, and touch capacitive buttons on the redesigned HVAC panel. Additional features include automatic climate control, wireless charging, jewelled gear selector dial, electronic parking brake, six airbags, blind spot monitor, and a 360-degree surround camera.

The Punch EV offers a single motor setup with two battery choices: a 25kWh unit with 80bhp/114Nm and a 35kWh unit with 120bhp/190Nm. The ARAI-certified range is 315km for the 25kWh unit and 421km for the 35kWh unit.
