Hyundai Motor Introduces ‘EVery Care’ Program for Electric Cars

Hyundai Motor Co. has introduced the EVery Care program, a new initiative for electric vehicle (EV) owners. Launched on February 21, this program is specifically accessible to buyers of Hyundai’s IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, or Kona Electric models. With a focus on providing comprehensive support, EVery Care aims to assist EV owners from the moment of purchase all the way through to resale. By offering guidance and assistance, Hyundai aims to boost customer confidence and facilitate a smoother EV ownership experience for drivers.

Hyundai’s new program provides several benefits tailored to different stages of electric vehicle ownership. These perks include help with charging costs or installing home chargers, with Hyundai covering the installation expenses. Furthermore, the program guarantees the resale value of pre-owned electric vehicles and offers support for exchanging them for new ones.

New electric vehicle (EV) buyers can opt for either charging credits or assistance with home charger installation, depending on their charging needs. Urban residents, who often rely on public charging stations, can receive charging credits equivalent to approximately two years’ worth of charging fees. Meanwhile, homeowners can take advantage of support that covers the installation costs of a 7kW-grade home charger.

Hyundai aims to ease worries about electric vehicle (EV) depreciation by offering a residual value guarantee for pre-owned models. Under this program, customers selling their IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, or Kona Electric within three years and trading them in for a new Hyundai vehicle can receive up to 55% of the original purchase price.
