Ferrato from Okaya EV offers a sneak peek of its first electric motorcycle

Okaya EV is getting ready to introduce its new high-end brand called Ferrato in India. They’ve hinted at launching two motorcycles and one scooter. Now, Ferrato has given a sneak peek of its first electric motorcycle, set to hit the market in the fiscal year 2024-25.

 

This electric motorcycle, named the ‘Disruptor,’ packs a punch with its 6.4 kW PMSM motor, capable of producing 228 Nm of torque and reaching a top speed of 95 kmph. More details will be revealed soon.

 

Okaya EV has already revealed Ferrato’s dealership plans, aiming to establish over 100 dealerships to improve customer service compared to what Okaya EV currently offers.

 

The main goal behind Ferrato’s launch is to provide customers with a top-notch experience. Dr. Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of Okaya Electric Vehicles, highlighted, “Ferrato’s aim is to offer customers a premium experience, marking a significant milestone for Okaya EV as we expand in the sustainable mobility sector.”

 

Joining Ferrato’s lineup is the Motofaast scooter, priced at ₹1,36,999. It features a 2300 W electric motor, reaching a top speed of 70 kmph, and offers three riding modes: Eco, City, and Sports. The Motofaast have a dual battery system with a total capacity of 3.53 kWh, using LFP technology. Charging fully takes 4-5 hours, with an estimated riding range of 110-130 km.
