MG Motor India is reportedly planning to launch a new electric vehicle (EV) in India called the MG Comet. The upcoming electric car is expected to be priced between INR 10 – 12 lakhs.
The MG Comet is expected to have a range of up to 250 kilometers on a single charge. The electric car will also likely to come with two driving modes- Normal and Sport. The top speed of Comet EV is likely to be restricted to just 100kmph. It comes with a 10.25-inch dual screen, fully digital, for infortainment and instrumentation purposes.
According to reports, the MG Comet is likely to be powered by a 150 horsepower electric motor and is expected to offer fast charging capability. It is also expected to come with MG’s i-Smart connected car technology, which will allow users to control various features of the car through a smartphone app.
