Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, RIVER EV, recently launched its new electric scooter, the River Indie. The company claims that the River Indie has a range of 120 kilometres on a single charge, making it an attractive option for those looking for a practical and eco-friendly mode of transportation.
The River Indie is powered by a 4kWh lithium-ion battery. The scooter has a top speed of 90 km/h. The scooter also features regenerative braking, which helps to recharge the battery while braking.
In terms of design, the River Indie features a modern and stylish look with LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, and a USB charging port. The scooter also comes equipped with a side stand sensor, which prevents the scooter from starting if the stand is not retracted.
The River indie is priced at Rs. 1.25 Lakh and is available in three colours: Silver, Blue, and Red.
RIVER EV has also set up a network of service centres across the country to ensure that customers have easy access to after-sales support. The company claims that the River Indie has been designed and manufactured in India, using locally sourced materials and components.
