Ather Energy, the EV manufacturer headquartered in Bengaluru, has initiated pre-bookings for its upcoming electric scooter, the Rizta. Customers can reserve their Rizta by depositing a nominal amount of Rs 999 through Ather’s official website.
The much-awaited launch of the Ather Rizta is scheduled for April 6th.
Distinguished by its larger dimensions compared to previous models, the Ather Rizta focuses on delivering comfort and practicality, departing from the sporty design of the Ather 450 series. It aims to cater to the preferences of the Indian scooter market, prioritizing convenience and user-friendliness.
Previous announcements from Ather Energy have hinted at features such as an expansive seat and increased under-seat storage, enhancing the scooter’s suitability for daily usage.
While specific details regarding the powertrain are undisclosed, industry experts anticipate that the Ather Rizta may inherit features from Ather’s existing lineup, such as a digital touchscreen instrument panel, seamless smartphone integration, and multiple ride modes. Additionally, the scooter is expected to offer quick charging capabilities, navigation assistance, and potentially improved range and performance due to possible updates in battery and motor configuration. However, official confirmation of these specifications is pending from the company.
