In a major boost for electric vehicle (EV) users in Cochin, a brand new GO EC EV supercharging station was inaugurated at Lulu Mall on 11th April 2023 by Sri. Hibi Eden, MP, Ernakulam. The charging station is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers a range of charging options for EVs.
The charging station is located at Lulu Mall’s NH 17 exit area. This is the second outlet of the GO ECs EV charging station at Lulu Mall as the first charging station was established in Thiruvananthapuram, and continues to operate successfully. The new charging station in Kochi offers a facility with four ports. It offers fast charging options for four-wheelers and slow charging options for two-wheelers. The station offers a charging facility that can charge four vehicles simultaneously and can be used by EV owners who are travelling from Trivandrum to Calicut route.
The GO EC EV supercharging station at Lulu Mall Cochin features a 60 kW DC Dual gun fast charger, 30 kW DC single gun fast charger, and 3.3 kW AC single gun slow charger. With these options, EV users can choose the charging speed that best suits their needs.
