Bengaluru-based MY EV Store has launched its flagship electric two-wheeler, the IME Rapid, in India. Priced between Rs 99,000 and Rs 1.48 lakh ex-showroom, it promises a 300 km riding range on a single charge and a max speed of 80 kmph. Initially available in Bengaluru, it will expand to 15-20 Karnataka cities. The IME Rapid offers three variants with ranges of 100, 200, and 300 km, powered by a 2000 W motor.
MY EV Store ensures easy servicing with spare parts and partnerships with financial institutions like Kotak Mahindra, Sriram Finance, and Manappuram Finance for customer-friendly finance options. Competing with the Bighouse C12i EX, which starts at Rs 99,999 with a 85 km range, the IME Rapid outshines in range, boasting an impressive 300 km. In contrast, the C12i Max offers a 135 km range at Rs 1.36 lakh. The IME Rapid is a strong contender, positioned as a budget-friendly alternative to Ola, Ether, and iCube in the Indian electric two-wheeler market.
