Tata Punch EV Breaks Cover with Distinct Design and Advanced Features

Tata Motors has officially revealed the much-anticipated Punch EV, an all-electric micro-SUV with a distinctive design compared to its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart. The EV boasts a closed-off grille, full-width LED DRLs, LED headlights, and new alloy wheels. The cabin features a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, a rotary gear selector with an integrated display, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system.

In terms of features, the Punch EV comes equipped with a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and a blind-view monitor. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, cruise control, and parking sensors.

The Punch EV offers two powertrain options: Standard and Long Range, providing flexibility for different driving preferences. Tata Motors has opened bookings for the electric Punch, with prices expected to be announced later this month.

The exterior showcases a refreshed design inspired by the Nexon EV, featuring connected LED taillights and a charging port on the nose. The color options include Empowered Oxide White, Seaweed Green, Fearless Red, Daytona Grey, and Pristine White, each with a black roof finish.

Inside, the micro-SUV offers interior themes and a host of features, including the new two-spoke steering wheel and the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Punch EV is poised to compete with rivals like the Citroen eC3 and positions itself as an alternative to the Tata Tigor EV.
